Meanwhile I stumbled over the major bug karagiozhs reported as well: cannot use Nostalgy currently at all.
Disabling the composing window features completely would be my favourite option!

Great!! Nostalgy is back!! Thank you very much

I have one minor tweak: when composing an email Thunderbird is VERY slow responding to any keypress while I am in one of the address lines. Address auto-comple and even hitting Enter to select one address takes several seconds. Additonally I would be happy to disable the CC/BCC features for composing completetly....
