Hi Lab5, thank you for your work !
First (maybe its important): I work here with Linux-Mint
19.3 , 64-Bit, cinnamon-desktop.
> Pls deactivate ( not deinstall, just deactivate ) them all, except Colored Folders,

1. I deactivated all addons (except Colored Folders).
2. After restart of TB all folders are colored .. but the menu-entry
of "Colored Folders" was greyed, so i cant change the colors.
3. I activated then addon after addon till all addons are active again.
4. Nothing changed: All folders had the correct colors. (Except the new ones; see below)
5. But "Colored Folders" is still not accessible
6. I deinstalled "Colored Folders"
7. Restart TB
8. I installed "Colored Folders" again (xpi-File from your website from the 31.december19)
9. Restart TB
10. All Icons are disappeared again. "Colored Folders" is now accessible via menu
(right mouse button), but it has no effect.
11. I deactivated "Colored Folders", restarted TB, all folder-Icons are there
(of course not colored)
12. I activated "Colored Folders" again and restarted TB. Same problem: All folder icons
are gone again.
13. It seems, that only that folders have an icon, that I added later and that
I didnt changed with "Colored Folders". But if I try to change the color of such
a folder now, its icon disappear as well.
14. I deinstalled "Colored Folders" (the version, I downloaded on 31.december-19)
15. I downloaded the current Version from your website and installed it: Same problem.
All folders are colored, but your addon is not accessible, because its menu-entry
is greyed out.
16. I repeated then the test with the current Version of "Colored Folders" like I
did above: Same problem.
Nevertheless: The correct colored folders have the colors, that I defined before the
TB-Update.
So thanks of your addon I can at least now navigate easier through this many folders,
I have here.

No, I dont have Phoenity. I have just a few addons:
Account Colors
compactheader
Enigmail
Lightning
Manually Sort Folders
Quicktext
As a test i disabled "Account Colors" and "Manually Sort Folders". Same behaviour.
I use the standard-theme
Thanks alot for your feedback.
Pls deactivate ( not deinstall, just deactivate ) them all, except Colored Folders, then check wether the issue still persists.
Then reactivate them one by one to find out, which Add-on conficts.
Then post back your finding.
I'm trying to solve this, but i need that information.

verschwindet wieder.
Ich habe hier Linux-Mint 19.3 Cinnamon und Thunderbird
62.2.2 (64 Bit).
Ansonsten aber ist dieses Addon sehr gelungen. Daher die 5
Sterne.

Unfortunately the update does not work for me. I have
to be on the safe side, the old addon de- and the new one
from the website installed.
Only "standard" creates an icon next to the corresponding
folder. All other colors (e.g. color codes) do not show
effect and an icon just created by "Standard"
disappears again.
I have here Linux-Mint 19.3 Cinnamon and Thunderbird
62.2.2 (64 bits).
But otherwise this addon is very good. Therefore the 5
Stars.
Could it be you have conflicting Add-ons installed ? For instance Phoenity ?
Because it soulds alot as if some CSS rule overrides the styling fo the Icon and Phoenity is known to confligate directly with the exact CSS rules of this extension.
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
