Hello,

Thank you for this extension, which addresses a real need in Thunderbird.

Unfortunately, I have noticed that the recursive marking does not work beyond one level deep. In my case, my folder structure goes 6 levels deep (e.g. Courriers Classés de Loïc → Achats → C → Carrefour → 2026 → Aspirateur de chantier Karsher WD2), and when I right-click on the top-level folder and select "Mark Subfolders Read", only the immediate subfolders are marked as read — deeper levels are not affected.

I had to right-click on the folder at the very bottom of the hierarchy to get it marked as read, which defeats the purpose of the extension.

Could you look into making the recursion work for all nesting levels, regardless of depth?

It would be helpful to add a keyboard shortcut and localization.
Is it possible to place the menu entry next to "Mark folder read" one?

Works as adverstised. Finally, My Archive Folder can be marked as read :)

A very useful addon, but I have 4 email accounts. When I right-click on the first one and select 'Mark subfolders read' it marks every message in every email account read. Not what I was expecting !!

Thank you for the information. I did not consider using this on an account instead of a folder, and there seems to be no way to limit the menu entry to the latter.
So, I put something in to handle accounts specifically (finally). This should be fixed in version 1.2 (which is currently pending review).
