Very useful extension, especially at my workflow

Still works well in current TB betas (now 94) ... after I edit the max_version in the manifest.json file so it will install and be enabled.

When I click "install in Thunderbird" nothing happens
No error, but no add-on in the installed list as well

That sounds like an addons site problem, but I can maybe help pin it down if you email me. Please raise issues via github, though, and not the ratings mechanism, I don't always see these.

Add-On was not installed :-(

But if I have to carefully highlight the link first I might as well copy and paste it into an open Firefox tab which I keep always ready for cases like this.

Well, yes. URL Link is not for “just” opening links, it is for fixing broken links (split across lines) and custom manipulation of links to do other things with them.

This is extremely useful because you can configure it to open custom URLs with selected text embedded. For example, you could highlight a product brand name in an email someone sent you, and then open it using Amazon url for that brand.

*Very Sad it doesn't work in Thunderbird any more since v78 *

I shall be looking at the v78 issues very soon.

Almost perfect!

The only thing I do not understand is, why I have to mark first an url before can be open?
Unfortunately I get a lot of Emails with url links but they aren't generated as html command like pure text Emails are.

It would be better if the add-on would do it automatically.
