I have been a devoted user of Thunderbird for several years now, and I have always appreciated the wide range of add-ons available to enhance its functionality. One add-on that particularly caught my attention was MEGAbird, which seamlessly integrated Thunderbird with Mega.io services.

However, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of support and updates for the MEGAbird add-on. It seems that the developer has abandoned this project since 2021, and as a result, the add-on is no longer functional. This has been a major inconvenience for me as I rely on the seamless integration of Thunderbird with Mega.io in my daily email management.

I understand that developers have their own priorities and commitments, but it is disheartening to see such a promising add-on left unsupported. Mega.io is a company that I highly respect, and I believe that the MEGAbird add-on could greatly contribute to the overall user experience.

I sincerely hope that the developer reconsiders their decision and dedicates the necessary time and effort to update and maintain the MEGAbird add-on. By doing so, they would not only cater to the needs of existing users but also attract new users who value the integration of Thunderbird with Mega.io.

In conclusion, I urge the developer of MEGAbird to take into account the disappointment and frustration of users like myself who have been eagerly awaiting updates even when i subscribed to PRO III within last 4 years. Please consider reviving this add-on and ensuring its compatibility with the latest versions of Thunderbird. Your dedication and support would be greatly appreciated by the Thunderbird community.

Thank you for using MEGA!
Currently, MEGAbird is not available.

The update of MEGAbird is in our roadmap, but unfortunately, there is no planned release date yet.

I agree with the other commenters—super useful, I miss it, I wish it was updated. Without it, I constantly switch between the diminishing number of Thunderbird attachment supported cloud storage solutions.

My rate for the working app is shown like above.
This is really a shame. Why did they ever build this add on. I think a lot of people use this add on in Thunderbird and now they are not able to use it anymore. I really like mega as my premium cloudstorage app. But if they don't update their app soon. i think have to change to another provider sorry !

Got a response from MEGA support today:

"Our developers are already aware of this, however the fix for the issue will be included on Thunderbird 71."
