Hi, maybe I'm too stupid, or I'm just too new at TB, but I faced the same problem as Hub and Germanben, but I can't find the button. Also not in the main menu.
Any hints?
Basically, I think this would be a cool tool, so I gave it 4* (hoping, that I get it working soon)

Thanks for the review, sorry for the confusion. As of Thunderbird v140 the Account settings interface changed and I could no longer integrate with a unified Account actions button. The new method is to use the standard main toolbar to add a LocalFolders button with a dropdown menu for add and remove. This is shown on the first screenshot on the addon page and the notes. I hope those were clear.

Same problem as germanben, the option to create a new local folder do not appear in the "add new " button !

Thanks for not doing a bad review for a question.
I had to change because of the new Thunderbird account settings tab ui. They no longer have a combined action button, but a New account button and separate (and not usable delete button) I now have a main toolbar button that has both the add and remove menu options.

Doesn't seem to work with TB 140.3.0esr (I could install it, but other than with my former TB version I find no way to add a local folder)

I've been searching quite a while to find it and eventually gave up. Even the screenshots published don't show the new, but the old place of the button. Please add new screenshots and some sort of note in the description as to where you can find the button.

New to Thunderbird, thought this add-on would be idea. But cannot copy emails into created local folders, TB complains about lack of disk space (which isn't the case).

I don't know what your setup is,but I have seen several odd issues with flatpak installs.

Recently converted to Thunderbird, this is one of my most useful modules.
But since I upgraded to v139, it's been disabled, and I really miss it!
An update would really be a great relief.

I was using this TB extension for years now, It was still ok with TB 128.0
Seems it is not compatible with 128-137*
Do you plan to update it ?

The app is excellent. However, not sure how to delete any unwanted Local Folder if created by mistake. Can't find any option.

You can remove a local folder by highlighting in the account manager and choosing remove

Good and useful. It could be more useful if a local folder could be moved/copied/added to another computer or TB instance.

Hello, the application work partially. I added directly the directory inside my imapmail and inbox can be seen, but not sent mail. Is there something I can do to fix this? I don't see any options. What comes to my mind is that I can maybe change the name of the .msf documents?

How do I use this please? I have installed it but it does not appear in any menus. How do I actually MAKE a new local folder?! :-/

Remarque : Suite à une modification de mon compte principal de messagerie, la fonctionnalité « Ajouter un dossier local... » a disparu. Donc, je ne pouvais plus créer de nouveaux dossiers locaux.
Remède : réinstaller l’extension « Local Folders » (fichier localfolders-3.0.1-tb.xpi ). La fonctionnalité « Ajouter un dossier local... » réapparaît immédiatement.
