For me great idea,
You can unzip my xpi (or if you want, I'll share the source) and merge with yours addon. I'm not a professional programmer, I just made corrections to install your add-on.
By the way, Your extension is one of my favorites. It is brilliant for everyday work. Great Job.
After all I will remove my extension from add-on database, or if You want I can do it immediately.

Thank you very much! I added your changes and released a new version (1.2) which is currently under review.

Unfortunately, I could not really test your changes since I use TB beta (v77), which does not support legacy addons any longer.
