update: I don't know how to reply. The icon is visible now but I've also rebuilt the prefs from scratch. Thanks for your response.

What do you mean by 'needs a small icon'? Doesn't it show up, doesn't it look good, or isn't it sized correctly? Do you use any special themes? Is this issue still present with version 5.6?
