SMTP Control version 0.5.0 supporting TB 5.0 is in the review process.
Preliminary review is done. Possible download in version list section : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/smtp-control/versions/
Comments from AMO reviewer is linked to the use of enablePrivilege() function, use of password field in prefs (but not used in the current version - for future use) and use of setAttribute() for oncommand and onclick commands. I'm working on it.
