O programa não reconhecia uma variedade enorme de palavras que são usadas no cotidiano do português-br, muitas vezes não corrigiu o que estava errado e também havia várias palavras com o acerto ortográfico defasado, anteriores à 2009, como a palavra IDEIA ter sido considerada errada por esse complemento, alegando que a palavra correta ainda tinha acento, IDÉIA, por exemplo.
