Any news on this, it seems this extension has been abandoned by the developer.

Sorry, but I just did not know how to transfer it and it was pretty difficult to find the necessary information. The API is now much more complete.

This addon is really helpful. Right now I am on newest Thunderbird and I am really missing it. Maybe you are struggling with the implementation due to the bad documentation of Thunderbird. I really hope, you can still conquer this problem. I can serve as a beta tester, if you need my help. Keep going.
