Ich bin positiv überrascht. Es leistet mehr, als ich von einer elektronischen Rechtschreibprüfung erwartet habe - und das als als orthographisch sicherer Muttersprachler und zeitweise Deutsch-als-Fremdsprache-Lehrer. Ich habe den (subjektiven) Eindruck, dass es weniger 'Ignorier'- und 'Hinzufügen'-Aufwand erfordert als das von Microsoft.

For me the most basic functions work very good, I am happy with it.

As recommended in some forums, it is best to install GPG BEFORE Enigmail.
i tried it on Win 7 and Win 10 pro, TB 48.4.0 with GPG4Win:

en- and decrypting and/or singing of Emails work smooth and easily. Thank you very much!
Wie in manchen Foren schon gesagt, ist es empfehlenswert ZUERST GPG und dann erst Enigmail zu installieren.
Ich versuchte es mit Win7 und Win 10pro, TB 48.4.0 mit GPG4Win:
sehr einfache Installation,
Ver- und Entschlüsseln und/oder Signieren von Nachrichten läuft sanft und problemlos.

This AddOn is a very good idea - Merci bien!
I am very happy with the Update to Version 2, which solved the earlier performance problem on IMAP folders - GREAT! (Therefore I edited this comment).
@Kiwifagan: To clean the subject from "Re: Fwd: Re: ..." you may use the AddOns "CleanSubject" or "Subject Cleaner". They do it automatically.

I patched the install.rdf-file of version 1.3.5.1 so that it is possible to install attachment extractor to a Thunderbird up to version 99 without version-error. Tested with TB 38.0.1, but no warranty for functionality. Available on my homepage dvschuetz.de under "Anleitungen - Email - Thunderbird Add-Ons".

Works very well on TB 3.1.7 and Win XP pro SP3, even with the FiltaQuilla Extension.Does exactly what I want and looks very nice.

After applying the install-rdf-Patch this one works well with TB 3.1.7 (Win XP). But there is a newer version of this add-On available, ready for TB 3.x: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/thunderbird/addon/13101/

Great. Especially the ability to detach attachments to a individually specified folders on the harddisk is a big helper.

Good idea for the first time copy of filters. But as soon you already have filters defined, these will be overwritten and disappear.

Super. Endlich werden Ordner nicht mehr versehentlich verschoben. Diese Funktion sollte als Standard in TB aufgenommen werden.

Working for me (Win XP pro SP3, TB 3.1.6, 3.1.7..., POP, IMAP).
Only when using auto-extract on IMAP-Folders I sometimes get the problem that the message is duplicated afterwards: one time with the attachment, one time without.

Should be installed before you add new accounts or lots of new folders.

Verändert die Standardsortierung für neue(!) Ordner. Dieses Add-On sollte also installiert und eingestellt werden, bevor man neue Konten oder viele Ordner anlegt.

5 stars, because this is the most important add-on and works fantastic.The patch of quad is NOT necessary any more.
