Only 2 reviews for such a useful addon! A few minutes of testing show it works reliably for me on TB 140.7.0esr
Could you consider publishing the code on a git plateform, like codeberg org? It wasn't hard to download the xpi on my browser, extract it and have a quick look at the code, but it's always simpler with a link. Plus you'd have an issue tracker ;)
Thank you for your rating and review! As you suggested I have now published the code to both github and codeberg.
As an FYI, I did not personally program this but coached ChatGPT to do it for me. That's why there were 22 version before it worked correctly!
I'm not a programmer but badly wanted this feature so now we have it!

هذا التعليق كان على إصدارة سابقة من هذه الإضافة (1.0.20)Please try the newest revision that was just uploaded, version 22 (1.0.22). I had a problem whereby the add-on would not persist once enabled. I believe I have that problem fixed now. Please let me know if you still have issues after upgrading.

I love the idea of this, so it get 4*. However, even though the Strikethrough button shows up on the compose toolbar, it often does nothing. However, disabling it, and then restarting TB, and then enabling the add-on usually makes it work.

I have found that it sometimes doesn't work for me as well. What usually will make it work is turning it off and back on under the Tools/Add-ons... menu while the program is running.
