This is exactly what I was looking for. It prevents me from answering with the collecting id. Thank you for that piece of code. Well done!

Beware though that the next version's popup interface will be somewhat different: it will retain all functionality, but the actual identities list will be much more prominent. This wil lead to less clicks needed to pick the correct identity, while hopefully still clearly distinguishing which account identities belong to.
