Thanks for reply. Sorry, Realised after I shouldn't post bugs here. Have re-downloaded XPI several times. Recent new clean profile, no other errors or problems. Not really worth new profile at this time. Can manage with US dictionary. I know you will respond if anyone else has this problem. Thanks.

Thunderbord 6.0Addon creates an error:Could not read chrome manifest file 'C:\Users\Keith\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\odiyafc6.default\extensions\en-GB@dictionaries.addons.mozilla.org\chrome.manifest'.Have reinstalled several times and disabled all other addons. This is my only error

This sounds like the add-on file has become corrupted. You don't say if you're re-downloading the add-on each time. If not, please try a fresh download. Otherwise, please try installing into a new profile (see http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/home if you need help with that).
