It's a good addon, but it freezes the video stream of a Wi-Fi IP camera I have. I know it is this plugin because I tried disabling other plugins then restarting and nothing happened until I did it with this one. Another thing I don't like is that I had a previous Facebook zooming addon that placed the zoomed image right next to the cursor, and it moved as the cursor moved. This addon keeps the photo still, and it can get in the way.

If TZP causes a problem on your webcam page you could temporarily turn off TZP by clicking the toolbar button. Which brand web cam is it? I might be able to make TZP recognize it and disable on it.

Re Facebook, is it pop-ups from a particular kind of thumbnail or area of the page which are annoying? If it covers something you want to see you can always just move the mouse off the thumb to dismiss the pop-up.
