Through his Mozilla profile and his Twitter account, the maintainer indicates that he has retired from Thunderbird extension development. There have been no updates in almost 3 years. I would resume contributing user-agent icons if someone else wants to maintain this extension.

Thanks for the feedback. I had the same thoughts last summer. I worked with Toshi to take over maintenance of this add-on. Its code now lives at https://github.com/marcelstoer/display-mail-user-agent-t. Contributions are very much welcome. Please take a look at the issues list to see what I already reported and fixed.
