I'm not sure how to get in touch with the author, so I'm trying the review route...
I tried the Thunderbird Identity Reminder add-on in the past but IIRC I came to the conclusion that I didn't like the fact that the reminder pops up for every single message.
I'm looking for some clever mechanism/add-on whereby the reminder would only kick in for certain addresses that could be stored in a dedicated list.
Any offers?

Latest update on TB broke this again. D_O_L is right Identity Chooser is a perfect replacement for this one (last update from author is 2007 anyhow!). Identity Chooser link is:

For a similar addon compatible with TB 3 check Identity Chooser.

and Identity Chooser is ok for answer too !

Well, shucks. I don't quite know enough to follow the instructions on unzipping and applying the hack. And I don't have an account at the place Jarooq uptloaded it to, so can't download the fixed version.

Hi, nice extension.
Would be great if:
- Selecting the identity triggers new email, so without OK push
- Tool bar, which I can move along the screen, keeps it last position

I have a hack to make this with with TB3, unzip the xpi, then unzip identityreminder.jar in the chrome dir, then in the content directory, apply the following patch below to identityreminder.js.
In the top level, apply the patch below to install.rdf.
zip it back up and install.

why it doesn't work when i use keyboard shortcut to write a new message.. (ctrl+N or ctrl+M) ? is there any configuration that i should know?

I got jar files and chrome etc... from the website, but not xpi file. Could you pls update again? Thanks, I really need it.

work great for me, just use winrar/zip to see file into the xpi package. Open install.rdf with some text editor (like notepad or gedit) and change line of to 3..0 or anything else.

Thanks for this addon that save me some trouble :D

Too many key strokes to choose identity. Just clicking on the required item in the list should be enough.

PLEASE UPDATE THIS ADD-ON AS NOW I CANNOT USE IT AT ALL WITH V2.0.0.6
