This was a 5-star add-on, but Thunderbird 68.x.x broke it. Is the author still around? Will this extension be upgraded to work again or is it dead in the water? Anyone know of a replacement that still works?

This was a five-star program that I've used for years, but TB version 68.3.1 broke it. I really miss it as I always glanced at the toolbar to see if I had any new messages in my inbox. Is the developer still here? Are there plans to make this work with the new TB versions? Anybody know of an equivalent add-on that changes the color of the task bar button with new mail?
