This is a cool add-on, I like the search box, but still I didn't find what I am looking for, which is a toolbar button makes the add-ons as a drop-down list, any idea about that !

Although it appears at the top of the add-ons manager page (rather than being a toolbar button), the autocomplete listbox (https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/user-media/previews/full/67/67103.png) also provides a dropdown arrow, which when clicked shows a dropdown list of your add-ons, from which you can select by clicking. The listbox can be turned on/off by the 'Select Add-on' List item in Addons Manager Hilite Options. Also make sure you are using the current version 2.1.1 to insure proper functioning of the listbox on Firefox 31 and newer.

When you have so many add-ons this thing is awesome. Especially because by default it's sorted by enabled/disabled. And this has an option to go alpha only. But I like the enabled/disabled, so this higlight feature comes in way handy. Especially for add-on devs.

Fetaure request: When it rehighlights can you also make it try to remember the scroll position as best as possible?

Nice feature! This had been bothering me for a while. The regular Addons Manager UI is so simplistic, it's hard to use, especially if you have to deal with it frequently. This is a good time-saver.

Helps make the Add-ons Manager manageable. For Appearance panel the sort alpha option is something I like, since the entries are always where I put them.

Remembers last selected (hilited) like Firefox 3.6.
minVersion 7.0...

I had to uninstall:
* [Add-ons Manager Dialog Returns 1.0] (https://addons.mozilla.org/pt-BR/firefox/addon/add-ons-manager-dialog-for-ff4)
* [Slim add-Ons Manager] (https://addons.mozilla.org/pt-br/firefox/addon/slim-add-ons-manager)

Only worked when uninstalled the 6.0.4 MR Tech Toolkit (https://addons.mozilla.org/pt-BR/firefox/addon/mr-tech-toolkit/?src=ss), reinstalled it, and then installed the [Addons Manager Hilite].

I spend a lot of time in the Add-ons Manager (add-on junkie) and that bug is very annoying especially when you have a lot of add-ons installed.
Thanks sincerely for writing this.

I've been using Stay-Open Menu for a while and that too is a very useful and appreciated extension.
Keep them coming. :)

Yes! I thought I was the only one that noticed this annoying issue in FF4. I hate when I'm reading the details of an add-on near the bottom of the menu and then when I go back it resets to the top! Can't believe nobody from Mozilla had a problem with this. Thanks firefox lady!!

Missed. searched for, found.
Would deserve six stars if it could be turned into a combo box, allowing to use it as a filter as well (comparable to the about:config filter).
