I've been waiting for this function all my life, but I was disappointed by XNote. I could never get it to work. Sticky notes didn't appear on my messages. Messages were tagged as having notes, but I couldn't get the notes to appear anywhere, and I couldn't access what I had typed later. The recent update didn't resolve this.
