автор забросил разработку? В принципе работает но после очередного обновления фаерфокс требует обязательные подписи всех дополнений. Автор должен его подписать, тогда можно будет пользоваться.

In short:with new versions of FF it starting to fail.first Right button menu desapear(this addon also deny ALL other addons,that req. right click to use,because it disable it almost complietly,except for default FF options).second,it stop memorizing what i marked.thus making this addone useless and FF breaking.</poor engrush>

Doesn´t work very well for me. When I close the tab (or windo a reopen it, the bookmark disappears (FF 19.0.2, Win 7 64 bit, SP1). I think the main function of the bookmark is to STAY on the place for future reference.
BTW the graphics is awful!

With the upgrade of Firefox 10, this addon actually delivers what it promises! A+++

The highlight colour and the line style should be customizable. The bookmark name should be customizable too. It's a good idea, but, in my opinion, poorly implemented.

I like this addon, but I have a problem with it when using online content editors. For example, if I am adding a blog post (the editor is inside an iframe), I get about 20 hidden divs added from this addon in my post. I end up disabling it when I blog.
Every tab or popup window I open automatically gets these same hidden divs added.

Although it says "Works with Thunderbird: 1.0+ – 3.0b2pre", it certainly does not work with Thunderbird 3.
Error message saying it is not compatible.

This add-on is listed as a Thunderbird add-on, and I was able to install it in Thunderbird, but it does not seem to add any functionality at all.

Not to be mixed up with a text highlighter. This does not highlight text. It creates bookmarks as in a real, printed book to find a page or passage. So if you're working on veeeery long web pages, e.g. archived articles, digitalized books of a library, etc., then this is very useful to quickly scroll to specific lines or passages in the text.

The highlighting function doesn't seem to work properly. Bookmarks are a weird multi-coloured bar that sits in the text. It could be a lot more appealing.

Incredibly useful for bookmarking your place, when reading very long html e-books and the bookmarked place persists across browser sessions.
I would like to see a different type of marking to the rainbow effect used, but knowing just how much work goes into making extensions, I am just grateful that this extension exists at all!

Can't say I'm any fond of the rainbow colors, but this is a very great idea for an addon. The "Highlight" option hardly works though. So I just use the "Book Text Mark" option and just drag the rainbow bar to the area I want.
Another problem is that the bookmarks menu for Book Text Mark doesn't show my lists of saved book text marks. But since I have it in my context menu, that's alright.
The incredible usefulness of this addon deserves a high grade, despite all of the flaws I think it has. If anything gets updated or fixed, I'm hoping it will be those horrible rainbow colors.

"Book Text Mark Setting" under Tool pull-down menu doesn't open. This option can't be seen from addon Option. Could you pls make this Setting option be loaded from addon Option?

Excellent add-on. In my opinion, the only thing that could make it better is backup/synchronization of my marks and highlights.
