Evolution Mirror

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Greatly improves TB/Gnome integration. Now I can see can see all my appts (not just newly added ones) without leaving TB open. (I use Ubuntu 9.10 amd_64, TB 2.0, Lightning 0.9, and Evolution Mirror 0.2.3.) Gnome/Evolution still doesn't give me a sound for appointment reminders, though. Might need to add ACTION:AUDIO (in addition to ACTION:DISPLAY) to each calendar entry. Incidentally, I use Recoll to index all of my TB e-mail, appts and tasks (as well as FF browsing history, my home directory, etc.) Just make sure that it picks up .evolution/calendar/local/system/calendar.ics.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.1).

Gnome Integration

Works fine with TB 2.0.0.24 on Ubuntu 9.10. (I dont hear sound, though.)

I recommend enhancing notify-osd to work with notify-send. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/notify-osd/+bug/390508 #126.

Sorry. The key was to restart after editing clamd.conf as described below.

Sorry. The key was to restart after editing clamd.conf. Works like a charm.

Each e-mail came through with ClamAV status: CONNECTION PROBLEMS. I am running Ubuntu 9.10, TB 2.0.0.23, ClamAV 4.15, clamdrib 0.2. I had no problem installing either ClamAV or clamdrib, but the install was not complete until I edited clamd.conf as instructed in another review. Then restart. Now works like a charm.
