This extension is what finally made me switch to Thunderbird. No more messing with "alternate text"! The possibility of actually seeing the icon animation before you insert it is a very nice touch.

If you like to insert smilies in your messages, this is the add-on for you. Much, much easier and faster than doing it T-Bird's way.
