This is a usable, handy extension, but if you change the default download folder as described below (adding to about:config) BEWARE that if you set it to an existing folder (e.g. Download) it will delete EVERYTHING in that folder! This is LuckWare i.e. it does a handy thing within very tight constraints.

... as described on the add-on page, and by default OD² uses a completely own folder.
