Perhaps the most useful application of this addon is that it gives a way to record and remember login info for websites which stubbornly refuse to allow your firefox to do so (although admittedly the denial to remember passwords has a meaning for many irresponsible users) . You can also make batch changes to login info.
To make firefox remember your login info you just click on the password field in the website, then you open the saved passwords dialogue and click 'New' to create a new username & password for the site. In the window that popus up you click "Guess from current page" and voila! you can now enter the username and password to be remembered.

Update:
The developer is right. I had hidden the "Save Login Info" from the right-click menu with another addon
to save space. I unhide it and now the saving of login info in picky websites is way quicker.
Thanks for this. FYI, that method *does* work. That's the original way SPE was designed. Do note, however, that I added commands to the page context menu (a.k.a. right-click menu); just right-click on a username or password field, and choose a command. Not only is it more efficient IMO, the "Save login info" command (equivalent to "New" that I added to the Saved Passwords dialog) automatically fills in all the data it can from the login form, even the username and password if you happen to have entered them. So you might only need to click "OK".
The above should be explained in the add-on description. However, some translations of it are out of date; what language do you see it in?
