The most important features are summarized below:
- Saving the language and salutation after sending a message.
- Automatic filling of salutation when composing, replying and forwarding
- Automatic setting of the used dictionary language depending on the recipient
- Intelligent selection of the language depending on the email address used (taking into account its name and its domain)
- Reduction of repeated email signatures (as in Replies or forwarded mails)(currently under development!)
How it works...
- Compose a new email and enter a recipient email address...
- "smartCompose" automatically detects an salutation on the start of the email body.
- Send the mail...
- On next mail composition (as new Mail, an Reply or forwarded Mail) "smartCompose" automatically inserts the corresponding salutation and sets the dictionary language after the recipient has been entered.

What it needs (permissions)...
The addon requires the following permissions:
- Have full, unrestricted access to Thunderbird, and your computer
The ability to detect changes in the recipient list, as well as the ability to automatically change the dictionary language and detect changes in code is required. Unfortunately, Thunderbirds permission-based API is not providing this feature yet and an experimental API is required. This is why we need this permission. Further details can be read here.
