Kudos on the cause and the fact that this search is Google-powered. In fact, this is the only Google-powered charity donation search add-on I've been able to find.

However, there are no preferences/customization options like there are in Google. As a researcher, these are essential in any search engine I use. So, until search preferences are available I'll keep looking for another add-on or using regular Google & Google Scholar searches.

It would be nice to be able to customize the search engine combo (e.g Google + Ask, Yahoo! + Bing). I've tried this search engine, but not the add-on version. Personally, I wouldn't download this add-on unless that customization option was available.

I tried this engine & it worked fine, but I uninstalled it because I just can't stand yahoo searches. If there was a Google-powered version I would use it exclusively. And I suspect this is true for many other avid searchers out there.
