A "dictionary" that only checks the spelling of words is a "lexic-on" (a list of words), or better : "a Spelling Checker", for grammar is not at stakes, at all.
Un "dictionnaire" qui ne vérifier que l'orthographe des mots s'appelle un "lexique", ou mieux un "Vérificateur typographi-que", car il n'est pas du tout question de grammaire.
