Ein sehr schönes Addon,
aber es wird wenn man das Frame benutzt die Ansichtsfläche nach außen gedrückt so das man in der rechten oberen Ecke die 3 Symbole nicht mehr richtig sieht bzw. benutzen kann.

I read through all of the js, css, and xul looking for any potential leaks and didn't find any data theft or obfuscated code. (Incidentally, you can just unzip an xpi and do this yourself).

The plugin itself is fantastic. Really does a great job of making Tbird look a bit more modern. Unbelieveably good job. This is clearly a good bit of work, so support the author if you're a mind to. Comments in the source indicate that the author also tests in both Linux and Windows. (I'm using it in Linux).

Few notes: if you have other theme add-ons enabled, you might want to disable them to get the colors right. Also, you can change your font. (I changed it from Arial to Open Sans.) Finally, it doesn't look like this add-on will look quite right if you change your colors to dark in your UX/desktop (i.e., in linux).

No matter what, this an OUTSTANDING achievement. Thunderbird's still my favorite mail app, and now it's even better.

Todo esta excelente, solo que las letras están escritas en color blanco y se pierden con el Fondo del Tema, pueden actualizar la fuente y el color.

A great add-on with excellent features. I hope the developer will implement those items he states as well as the ability to change colors in the future perhaps. I'd also like an option to add border lines between emails in the inbox but I can do that myself using the userChrome.css file for the time being.

Diese Addon macht Thunderbrid auf alle Fälle übersichtlicher und bedienferfreundlicher.
Das einzige was mir fehlt bzw. nicht gefunden habe ist, wie ich die Schriftgröße oder das Schriftbild der aufgeführten E-Mails im Posteingang ändern kann. Für mich werden diese ein bisschen zu klein angezeigt.

The only downside is when an email comes in and I click the reply button it does not enter the email address of the person who sent the email so I have to put it in manually (if indeed I have it somewhere)

Excellent addition!!
The author needs to think over updating addons!!! In new versions of thunderbird the addon doesn't work!!!

I would like to congratulate you on that add-on. Although in early beta it works like a charm. I use Linux and Thunderbird at home and at work. Your add-on made it very easy to convince other users to switch too.

Installed on TB 38.7.2 Win7 with the default theme and it looks nothing like the screenshot. The tabs are completely wrong and do not match or line up with the Windows aero effects.

It would be great to have the from and subject together (compact header) on the message pane as two lines, one above and the other below. would save screen space.

Like a previous user supported, the To and From, etc., are appearing in German. I've looked through the files to see where this is set and I was unable to find it (I'm a novice at these things). Is there a fix for this? It's 100% form issue, does not affect functionality at all.

Unfortunately the "to" and "from" are defined as content of the ":before" pseudoclass in css and css is the only file format, where mozilla does not offer a possibility to define language specific text :-/

Das Addon ist soweit wirklich spitze, nur leider habe ich auch nach der Installation noch nicht die komplette Outlook typische Ansicht. Das Fenster ist immer noch horizontal geteilt und nicht wie auf dem Screenshot vertikal.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit dieses zu konfigurieren?

edit: Danke für die hilfreiche Antwort. Damit konnte ich das 3-Spalten Design aktivieren.

Die 3-Spalten Ansicht wird nicht von OutlookAlike gesteuert sondern ist eine Einstellung von Thunderbird. Zu finden im Menü "Ansicht" -> "Fensterlayout" -> "3-Spalten-Ansicht". Ggf. vorher noch die Alt-Taste drücken, um die Menüleiste anzuzeigen.

Für eine Beta Status echt gut. Allerdings würde ich es persönlcih sehr gut finden, wenn das Layout für die Mailliste auf Outlook (3 Spalten Ansicht) bald angepaßt weden würde.
Ansonsten kann ich nciht meckern. Nutze elementaryOs und das Layout integriert sich sehr gut. Habe bisher keine nenneswerten "Fehler" entdecken können.

Endlich ein Addon, das TB optisch auch unter Linux aufwertet! Kleines Manko: Offene Reiter werden nicht richtig dargestellt (unter Ubuntu 14.04 und Mint 17). Nach dem Ausblenden der Reiter ist die Optik perfekt, Symbole funktionieren jetzt alle.
