It is still working fine, at least in Thunderbird 140.6.0.ESR. I was a bit scared about updating TB 128 so I put Thunderbird on hold for some time and did not update, as this extension is critical for me. But it still works.

It is that spell check going to the cloud, scanned and sent back or is it an offline tool like the old thunderbird spellchecker? It is a bit scary the "online" part.

I had to uphold thunderbird update, cause this add-on stopped working after update to v 70 and It cancelled all my reminders!!!. Finally this addon is back and I agree that it should be integrated in the core of TB.
