I updated automatically to 17 today and tried to install Contacts via the automatic install. This did not work. So I installed it by going to the dev site, downloading it from there and then using the TB instal from file option.
I am using TB 17 now with Lightening and the Silver Mel theme. Contacts side bar looks beautiful in this set up and it is working perfectly.
