A useful add-on but since 68.2 Tbird it has stopped working. The fixes to alter the install.redf file and modifying the prefernce extensions.legacy.enabled to true no longer work. Hope the developer can update

Works perfectly in Thunderbird 45.1.1. All you have to do is

• open the xpi in 7-Zip
• edit (F4) install.rdf
• change <em:maxVersion>3.0.*</em:maxVersion> to <em:maxVersion>99.0.*</em:maxVersion>
• install and restart Thunderbird

Working great on TBird 45.1.1

Toolbar icon works, restart is as fast as Thunderbird ever is.

Works in Thunderbird 10 if you increase the maxVersion string. It's incredibly fast too. Nice job!

Works fine on TB5 if you install the Add-on Compatibility Reporter (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/).

It would be great if the author updated the add-on. For everyone else you can just change the maxVersion attribute in the install.rdf file to 5.* and you're right to go.

It suposed to be working on version 3.1, but it does'nt.
I searched advanced for "restart", and this one came up.

Great extension.

What I am still missing is the automatic saving/restoration of compose window.
This exist in Mail.app for example.

With a small modification, i was able to get it to work on thunderbird 3.
Simply download the file and open it with Winrar and look into the install.rdf
Look for the point 2.0.0.* and replace the 2 simply with a 3 and it will work on TB3 :)
