Just today, there was a new version of Thunderbird, Version 17.0. For a while, the new version failed to do any of the following:
1. Send new emails
2. Reply to emails
3 Forward emails
I guess it would not do anything at all. It crashed every time.
This unsatisfactory situation lasted for a while until I disabled Quicktext Version 0.9.11.1 and everything returned to normal.
Now I found Quicktext a very useful add-on and I was disappointed to find out that it does not work any more.
I would urge the developer, WizKid, to see if he/she could restore operation soon. I, and many other users, will appreciate it.
