Hey Marco, first off, thanks for this great add-on! In my opinion, synching with Google should have been built in to Thunderbird, but since they failed to do it, thanks to you for making it possible!

My question: I get prompted periodically by this add-on to re-enter my Google account info (if I had to guess, it's ~once every 10 days?). Any idea why I need to re-enter the Google credentials periodically?

TB is kind of "agnostic": it provides the fundamentals (and in the next versions it will merge TbSync), but the specific engines are left outside.

As for Your question: I don't know :)
But it's a common issue, see ticket: https://github.com/zanonmark/Google-4-TbSync/issues/58.
Btw this (to renew the access token every 7 days) is probably the right and expected behaviour, probably because the apps we all create are in testing mode. But it's strange that it doesn't happen to everyone (I've been logged in for years with no issues, with different accounts).
