MALWARE ALERT !

FIRST LET IT BE KNOWN THAT ONELOOK IS, AND HAS BEEN FOR A LONG TIME, MY FAVORITE DICTIONARY, META-DICTIONARY

BUT TODAY, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, A FEW MINUTES AGO, I USED THE FIREFOX SEARCH ENGINE ONELOOK, AND FIREFOX BLOCKED THE ONELOOK PAGE WITH A MALWARE ALERT

I LOOKED UP THE WORD "SHIBBOLETH"

FIREFOX ASKED ME, SOMETHING LIKE, TAKE ME OUT OF HERE ?

I DIDN'T HESITATE, I LEFT

ONELOOK CHECK YOUR WEBPAGE FOR INFECTION

I ASSUME ONELOOK ISN'T RESPONSIBLE

WHETHER IT'S A FALSE ALERT I DON'T KNOW, BUT I WON'T RISK USING IT UNTIL I KNOW THERE'S NO WEBSITE SECURITY DANGER PRESENT

I've been using this for at least a couple of years and love it! It seems to find a definition for even very obscure words, long out of use words, and words very specific to limited population, isolated to a small sub-subsection of industry or profession. After getting the serious definition I want, it can be... amusing to check out the definition offered in the Urban Dictionary and all in a single click.

Great Add-On! I was looking for a Dictionary Search Engine that was better than the Webster Dictionary Search Engine that I currently have still installed. I whole-heartedly advise people to download and try this engine it is easily installable and does not require a reboot. Another great search engine for my arsenal...

Brilliant. Far and away the best dictionary site. Especially useful for obscure words.

great if you want to find definitions of words from a variety of sources, useful and easy to use

When you type in a word in the search box it shows all the dictionaries that include that word. Very useful ;)
