Without ANY notice you wake up and receive a notice in your browser that the extension in your browser and Thunerbird has been disabled and you MUST pay almost $25.00USD PER MONTH to continue to use the (poo emoji) extension! Grammarly is way better and yet CHEAPTER then this extension. The CEO Daniel Naber is nuts!

It's announced that the whole extension is going to be locked behind the Premium subscription. While I understand the need to make money, the costs are not reasonable for me and my usage. I also don't like your explanation that this is because of the rising costs of the AI-features, which I didn't need nor was convinced of to begin with.
You can circumvent this (for now?) if you set up your own server, but I think I prefer to part ways at this point.
Hi Daniel. We appreciate your feedback. However, we can assure you that the Thunderbird add-on stays free. Only the browser extension will be offered exclusively to premium users. Furthermore, we will not remove the ability to configure your own open-source server from any of our products.

While the tool works great, i am confused why it needs "Have full, unrestricted access to Thunderbird, and your computer" permission to my PC? How does that relate to spellchecking which as the addon claims, to be using AI hence I would assume that it merely needs a constant internet connection to do this and not unfettered access to my entire computer.

A fantastic add-on for Thunderbird, but it needs a much faster update process. This has happened many times before, that this plugin would not work after an update from Thunderbird. You can simply change the manifest.json file to something like: "strict_max_version": "150.*" then the plug will work perfectly. Later you can check for compatibility. I do this every time but for people with not such technical abilities, this will always be a problem.

I give 5 points for this great improvement of my spelling in the last years.
SADLY the last update of TB has made this add-on useless, though!

Loved using the tool until the update for Thunderbird 141 came. Ever since it hasn't been working. We're at 143 now and there is still no updated version, and no messaging back from the developers.
Hi, we cannot reproduce this issue with Thunderbird 143. Can you please re-install the add-on from the Thunderbird add-on store?

Perfect if you want a complete spell checker. Be careful, it needs a network connection (many requests are made).

Thanks for the excellent add-on. Note that 8.11.2 works with Thunderbird 142.0. The developer simply must update the manifest.json:

Hello there! It is a very nice app... Unfortunely it is not compatible with TB 139.0 on windows 64bit. Please update the app.

Good spellchecker, and not bad at basic grammar and finding simple mistakes.
However, it struggles with punctuation a fair amount. For example, it is very annoying with its never-ending insistence that my quotation marks are not closed, when they most certainly are.

The extension is non-intrusive and work well. LT picks up most of the mistakes and issues with spelling and grammar. However, they need to update the extension more often.

The free version that I use is really a great help, not only when I press the wrong key, but also when a sentence needs some punctuation mark. Great software!!

Depuis les deux dernières versions de Thunderbird, j'obtiens du lag chaque fois que je veux ouvrir un nouveau mail. Ce lag a disparu quand j'ai désactivé LT. J'espère que vous trouverez le problème et qu'il y aura une mise à jour. Merci d'avance.
