Priceless extension! I have had all kind of issues with my org M365 before I installed this extension. It eventually stopped working due security updates kept rolling out. Also, I didn't have calendar and contact sync and I thought that was not important anyway. Now that I have everything in one place, I regret the hassle I had to go through flipping between Thunderbird and outlook. Good job!

This product was working perfect, bought a license for 1 year which should be active after the month trail. Reach out to the support department via mail, and never received a reply for a solution..
FYI: Had contact with the support department after this review, which was very fast! solved also the issue. Which was a technical issue at my side SORRY!
Hi Berry, I see no open issue in our ticket system that's could be yours. It's possible that we replied to you, but your mail server ate the email as spam. That happens a lot. Can you maybe email us from another email address? If possible, reference your previous issue and this rating, so that we can make the link. Be sure to mention all your email addresses, so that we can find your license and fix the issue.
We are there to help users, and we do what we can. There must have been a communication breakdown in this case.

I’m moving from Outlook to Thunderbird, and this extension seems to be the only working solution to sync calendars and contacts from my Microsoft account at the moment. Thanks for your work!
When I open Thunderbird, I see a Microsoft page open in a separate tab, then it disappears. Is it possible to not show it at all?

Truly a PnP bit of software. My line of work (software developer myself, but entirely different ecosystem and scope) is unaffected by the more advanced quirks of this addon. I need it to speak micro$ corporate, it speaks micro$ corporate, fluently, for me. No issue with mail. If you're being forced into outlook for any reason, give this a shot instead. Happy user for three? four? years. I forget. Bill comes start of year, gets paid, everything streamlined. Set-it-and-forget-it. Well worth the price (and then some)

This is a great add-on. It works well with emails, calendars, and contacts. Unfortunately, the Teams integration does not work well. I can access the chat interface, but I cannot join or start a meeting. The session just closes suddenly. I am using Ubuntu 25.10. I tried it with the Snap and DEB packages, too, but the result was the same.

Yes, the Teams integration is just a nice goodie that we added, but we're aware that it doesn't work well with all meetings. That's why we don't advertize it anywhere. If you find it useful, e.g. for chat, then good. If not, you can just ignore it.

I have since yesterday the same problem with the authentification. And if I close outlook manually I get the message" registration window closed too early"

Same problem. Office365 OWA authentication windows is staying open again. Unable to receive or send messages from Thunderbird. I have latest version (1.4.5) of OWL. My e-mail still works on my iPhone.

When you manually close the authentication window, does login fail or work? Could you please send us more information, to our customer support email address? Please include the email address that you try to use with Owl, what your the browser address for your company's OWA webmail. In your email, please refer to this review and tell support that I asked you to contact them.

Can you send us details to customer support, please? Like your email address that you try to use with Owl, and the browser address of your company's OWA webmail. Please tell our support that I asked you to send this info, so that they route the information properly.

I've been using Owl for three years and recently encountered an authentication issue with Outlook365. I reached out to support via email, and my issue was resolved quickly. It's a very nice app with excellent support!
