Great addon, thanks. Would you mind adding a toggle to make all prompts temporary chats? So they dont show up in your chatgpt history.

I'm sorry, interacting with the ChatGPT web interface is really difficult and toggling the temporary chat is not possibile.

Definitely looks like a cool Addon I would love to use this, I just have privacy concerns given I have to give so many permissions, are there any other guarantees for security and safety you can provide apart from your privacy policy? Can you talk about it a little more? As theres not much information.

I wonder why you ask for the following permissions:
Access your data for all websites
Download files and read and modify the browser’s download history
Display notifications to you
Access browser tabs
I am trying to asses the data safety of this addon. Could you help me out?

A few suggested bug fixes:
currently Substitute text replaces the e-mail text with 3.5
sometimes 3.5Was the last reply helpful?
but never with the actual response.
Also, it would be awesome if the prompt wasn't modified, when there's no language specified in settings. It kind of messes the chat up. Also, specyfing a language in settings is also an issue, eg. when the prompt is "translate to German". Then, the prompt for the chat is "Translate to German: Reply in English <<text to translate>>" and sometimes chat replies in English, sometimes translates to German, sometimes does both....
I'm not able to replicate the 3.5 problem. With a paid account or a free one the 3.5 model is no more present and the text is substituted correctly.
May you open an issue on https://github.com/micz/ThunderAI/issues so we can share more info?
With version 1.2.0 if no language is specified in the settings, in the prompt is written "'Reply in the language it is written.". Is this statement present in your prompts?
The translate prompt has to be improved, I'll add an issue this evening and report here the number.

Love the potential. Easy to install and use.
The basic version of ChatGPT gives some pretty nonsensical answers that mostly copy something previously written in the email thread, though.
If, in my ChatGPT account, I train my own agent, can I use this instead, or will the vanilla version always be used in Thunderbird?
If your trained agent can be used with the ChatGPT web interface, you should be able to use it with this addon as well.

Fantastic! No API-connection necessary, works also with ChatGTP Plus.
Nice to have:
1. "Reply to this" + prompt (so you can feed ChatGPT with some this you want to see in your reply)
2. More sorts of "Rewrites" (friendly and informative of comprahensive, etc.)
3. "Reply to this" + formal + friendly,

Great tool!!! Simple and very effective <3
A couple of suggestions:
- There's a typo in the prompt: "Replay" instead of "Reply" ;-)
- Would be great to be able to customize the prompts and/or add custom additional commands
Anyway, just the fact that the user can continue interacting with ChatGPT and use the latest answer is great!

By far the best AI extension on Thunderbird.
-Wish that the information in the email was exported to GPT so it knows who wrote what throughout/earlier in the email thread. Sometimes it can reply to my own previous reply in the email thread. This applies when you press "replay to this" without marking a specific text in the email.
-Would be great if it didn't overwrite my auto-entered signature in the answers when you press "use last answer"

- The "reply to this" without selecting a part of the text sends all the text to ChatGTP. We should find a way to indicate how emails are structured, or at least that there is quoted text. Different prompts need to be tested. I reported it here: https://github.com/micz/ThunderAI/issues/39

Great addon!. One highlight is the ability to set up a reply button directly within emails, saving time, nicely done!

Great tool! Would like to wrtie/customize my own promt etc. And I have a problem that it chooses the wrong sender (I have many different inboxes for different domains), even thou the message that is going to be replayed on is marked in the right "postbox/sender"
