KidzSearch is the leading search engine for kids. It is used and trusted by 1000's of schools around the world. This Add-on filters all search requests and uses Google Strict SafeSearch to ensure the safest results possible.

With over 10 years of research and development, KidzSearch has the best filtering system to keep kids safe. All search results are first screened for safety using our proprietary filtering technology. Next, we rely on Google Strict SafeSearch for final results. Whenever possible, the results shown are designed to provide sites that are more academic focused to promote learning. Based on feedback from our large user base, we are always updating our filtering technology and available sites to show on a daily basis. Our results include large thumbnails and titles to make it less text dense, which makes it easier for kids to use. We also provide student-focused autocomplete to help kids find what they need, since typing can often be a challenge for them.
