This would be a lot more useful if you could exclude file types to be scanned (it crashes Firefox when some file types are downloaded to the temp directory), and if there was a visual indicator that the scan was still in progress (so that you don't launch a file until it is completely scanned).

Could you give me an example of a file types that crashes Firefox, so I can fix the problem?
