It would be great to be able to export the extensions from about:support to html in Quantum (58), inspecting the source does not show the extensions unfortunately. Sorry to hear you won't support 57+.

Any plan for Firefox 57+??
Workaround: we can have similar information in about:support
No plans for Firefox 57+.
There may be updates for Pale Moon.

Where is this alleged button to generate the list of extensions? I don't see it anywhere!

Thanks for sharing this add-on. I hope it's rewritten for Firefox 57.
It does exactly what it says very fast and in several flexible formats. I've used these exported lists for troubleshooting, setting up a new computer, and now for seeing what extensions will die in Firefox 57. I hope yours isn't one, but I understand if it is. Rewriting code is a lot of work.
Thanks again.

As Firefox changed route I had to jump ship and installed Waterfox 64-bit, once again all back to normal.
Running perfectly out of the box.

Thank you so much for adding support for Pale Moon. Unfortunately, when I install the extension, the toolbar button does not appear. I can bring up the preferences just find, but there appears to be no way to dump my extensions into a list!
If you can fix this, I will give you five stars!!

Please fix?
Temporary fix is to toggle the about:config entry
extensions.allow-non-mpc-extensions to 'true'
This will eventually fail, though, as multiprocess advances.
The extension is also marked as "Legacy", that is, not a web-extension, thus will not survive FF 57 in November unless re-written. This is a dark tragedy.

Great addon

This morning I got an update in Thunderbird for the original Extension List Dumper. It didn't work. This version though, does the job perfectly. Thanks very much for this excellent extension. Highly recommended to others.

Found this updated add on after discovering the old version did not work anymore. Great job for continuing this.
By adding a "Last updated" to Extension List Dumper 2 it will become easier to find old not working add ons. When an add on is not updated for a long time, the greater the possibility an add on stops working. If possible make it sort-able on Last updated.
On the add on more page a Last updated is shown, so the info is there and should be easily added.

FF48 x64,使用正常

This extension cannot be installed on my Windows 10 Pro 64-bit for Firefox 47.0.1. The installer says "installed", but actually it is not. After restarting FF, this extension is offered for installation again and again. Cleaning (with CCleaner & Privazer) of the PC and restarting it does not change anything. I must state: this extension cannot be installed on my PC (even in FF Safe Mode), but the reason is unknown, therefore the problem cannot be solved. Any suggestions?

@gazzawazza "However, I've just discovered a couple of problems (using public release FF 47.0):
1) it lists extensions that are not user installed and are actually firefox default installs:
- firefox hello
- multi-process staged rollout
- pocket"
For me, that is certainly not a problem. It reveals extensions whose presence would otherwise be unknown to the user (although they are also visible in 'Help'-'Troubleshooting Information'.)
In this case, firefox hello and pocket are considered, by some, to be undesirable. Once detected, they can be deactivated by "Classic Theme Restorer" extension.

I've used this successfully a few times now, when I've had to dump out a list of extensions for a support call, etc.
Really nice. I particularly like the way you can control the level of detail provided and filter between, for example, active and disabled extensions.
However, I've just discovered a couple of problems (using public release FF 47.0):
1) it lists extensions that are not user installed and are actually firefox default installs:
- firefox hello
- multi-process staged rollout
- pocket
2) it omitted the following plugins:
- openH264 video codex (cisco)
- primetime content decryption module (adobe)
- widevine content decryption module (google)
It might be nice if it dumped dictionaries too but that's a suggestion rather than a problem.
I'm sorry to post problems here but couldn't see a way to reach the developer.
Regards,
Gary

@BillyDick To obtain a list of a particular type of add-on (such as plugins), first display that type in the Add-ons Manager (tab, sidebar or window) and then press the 'Dump List' button above the display or in the dropdown menu you have been using.
It only dumps the list of what is currently displaying in the Add-ons Manager.
It's that simple to use.
