ChiudiRecensione di botsmack per Copy Plain Text
Assegnate 5 su 5 stelle
I just wanted to confirm that this extension does work in Firefox 3.6.3 *if* you follow the directions that have been mentioned below. Here they are in a manner that will hopefully help those who want it.
FYI...I'm using Copy Plain Text 0.3.4 that you can download here:
http://mozmonkey.com/packages/copyplaintext/
I mention that because that's the GUID used in step 1 below. I don't know what the GUID is for 0.3.3. Technically, though, this should work with either version. If I knew the 0.3.3 GUID, then I would have put that in the steps instead, to make it easier.
1) Locate the install.rdf file. It's usually located in your profile folder in the extensions (e.g., \Profiles\di4qybzg.default\extensions\{723AAF16-AF1F-4404-A5D7-0BFE39766605}). Keep in mind, the GUID folder will be different for version 0.3.3. Open it in your favorite text editor and change the maxVersion to 3.6.* or whatever you want, really. Just needs to be higher than 3.6.*. Save it--overwriting the original.
2) In the same folder, create a *new* file titled "chrome.manifest" (minus the quotes, of course). If you're in Windows, just create a new text file (*.txt) and rename the whole thing (including file extension) to "chrome.manifest".
Using the link (http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=tXuSK8N2) provided by prajatarah below, you want to copy those lines and paste them into the chrome.manifest file you just created. Save it.
3) Restart Firefox. That's it!
You should now be able to access the preferences of the add-on and it should show up in your right-click context menu.
