I can't select google for the about:homepage search, selecting it will makes FF use default search engine, while bing or yahoo is working fine. Everything other than that worked well.

That was by design since the page defaults to Google, but you're right. I should have allowed selecting Google because then it won't change with a different search engine. I'll fix.

Can you make this addon change the search engine in the about:homepage as well?
UPDATE: in 1.0.5 every search engine works except for google. Select google for the homepage search just makes it use default search engine, while I can select bing or yahoo. This is weird.

This is fixed in 1.0.4.
