Stylish - Custom themes for any website

This extension is great. I've been using it for several years to make my browser and websites I use often more personal to me, and to create enhancements under the alias "there.is.only..xul" for other people to use.
There is a small problem at the moment with userstyles.org that might be directly related to some fiddling on Mozilla's end which makes this version of the extension incapable of reporting installed status and updating from the website when new commits are released. Resolution as of 12/03/2014 is to upgrade to the latest beta release, available here;

Why not the one in the dev channel? Because it hasn't been updated yet and last I recall, b2 lacked error-checking on preview.
If you want a windowed editor instead of it opening in a new tab, go into about:config and set integer "extensions.stylish.editorWindowMode" to 1

You could install Nightly Tester Tools and not have to deal with install.rdf or manifest...
Also, this addon seems out of development. If I want no ads, I'll let Adblock Plus help in killing them.

I have been using Stylish for a few years now. I remember coding my very first "Serious" style, even though I was not half-serious about it until recently. I started off cutting and pasting, then asking people on forum.userstyles.org. After that I learned the magic of DOM Inspector. Wonderful little tool it is.
I highly recommend this extension just because of the huge base that userstyles.org provides. Also, with DOM Inspector, you can even inspect the browser interface itself by opening it and navigating to chrome://browser/content/browser.xul. If you are into making the browser look... out there, or simply increasing the font size and changing colors for your tired eyes, this is the ticket right here. No need for themes, no need to even really know what you're doing, because you learn as you go the potential of CSS.
Once you actually know what you're doing, and understand DOM Inspector's interface, how to find elements and then integrate them into styles, the power you have in customizing Firefox is truly unlimited... until you can't figure out what you're doing. Even still you still have the userstyles.org forum to ask questions and get what you need from other people, so it's all cool.
As of this writing I am on a profile I have modified to look and act much like a kiosk environment. Along with a few addons, I have limited my interface to just back, stop/reload (Yes! One button! And no need for another extension either!), forward, home, address bar, zoom in/out/reset, the search bar and a close button.
If you want (or need) something similar, I am there.is.only.xul on userstyles.org, look for the style "True Kiosk Mode" and read everything there. Yes, everything.
