Regular Firefox with regular Forecastfox installed *WORKS PERFECTLY IF* you use the PROXY set to 127.0.0.1 under port number 8118 while running the Tor/Vidalia bundle.
To be CLEAR! Do NOT use "Tor Browser". Not that thing.
We're using *Regular Firefox* folks, but connect it through Tor/Vidalia by going to:
Tools --> Options --> Network --> Settings --> 127.0.0.1 and port 8118.
Then to really streamline it, use the bottom line which says "No proxy for:" and add the sites you do NOT want proxied.
Like so,
Google.com, Youtube.com, Yahoo.com, Facebook.com and so on, but notice the comma at the end of each followed by a space OR simply turn the proxy on and off whenever you want Forecastfox to update weather data.

WHY does this work? I have no idea, but it DOES work all of the time every time.

I hope this helps!

On a side note, I SUSPECT the reason could be because our ISP's are caching data which gives us all two or three day old weather data, but when we go through the proxy server it actually connects to accuweather like it should do in the first place OR another possibility could be that accuweather is *blocking* requests from that part of their website for huge IP ranges, but somehow the IP's the Tor network runs on are not block as of YET.
Just a couple of guesses.
The bottom line is this - If you love this add-on, follow my instructions above and it'll work again regardless of why. It works!
