This addon seems to have stopped working with TB45. It may be necessary to change the overlay.js as I had to change mine to replace
var SendMessage = function() {
with
var SendMessage = function() {
and also for the 2 other similar lines.
Otherwise a great addon

It has supported by version 1.4 to Thunderbird 45.
