Since 1996, Bizrate® has been the leading resource for shoppers and retailers. Bizrate began as a business school assignment in the mind of founder Farhad Mohit, who felt that customers needed a way to navigate the growing landscape of online retailers. To provide customers with a way to assess the quality of different online stores, Bizrate launched the very first online customer feedback and ratings platform. With Bizrate, customers could rate their store experiences and retailers could learn about how they were performing. In October 1999, Bizrate integrated product search into the site to provide a holistic shopping experience.
