I was looking for something where I can change the default alarms / reminders but when I tried to install this plugin I simply get an error could not be installed since it's not compatible with Thunderbird 38.4.0

Works fine for me on 31.3.0. I found this since folder panes addon no longer works.
Thanks for the addon - I still don't understand why this doesn't come as standard in Thunderbird.

I was nearly put off by some reviews in November 2014 saying that it wasn't working. There may have been some issues with a change in google but the latest version is working for me.
I write the calendar events from my laptop to google so my smartphone so sync with google so I have my appts on the move.

Took a little while for me to realise that I needed to look at folder properties for each folder (I was looking in account settings). Once I had that sorted it worked like a dream.

I know that the developers say that the change will be needed but until then I prefer tools above the tabs and this works perfectly.

It works as it says it does for me - Windows XP, TB 3.0.5 and Lightning 1.0B1. At first my tasks vanished but this was because the task colour is determined by the calendar colour so the calendar colour must be set to something other than white. When I did this my tasks re-appeared.

This add-on makes the tasks take the colour of the calendar. I actually wanted an add-on to take the colours of the categories but this add-on does exactly what it says.

Works very well. I've recently changed to Internode and I find it very good to be able to keep an eye on my usage (with my last provider I went over my limit and slowed to a snail's pace).
