Adblock Edge

Noté 2 sur 5 étoiles

As far as I can see the only thing you have done is remove the "Allow some non-intrusive advertising" option which you could just disable via preferences anyway.

Let me know if I am wrong.

Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (2.0.1-signed.1-signed).

Hide Menubar

Noté 1 sur 5 étoiles

Isn't this functionality something Firefox does anyway? Hide the menu bar via the View menu and then press alt to have it temporarily appear.

Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (3.6.20100626).

SearchMenu - Search Faster in Firefox

Noté 3 sur 5 étoiles

Tried it but the lack of customisability for the shopping sites means it's only useful for those in the US. Also users should be able to disable any search engines they don't use and decide if they want to use your affiliate link when using Amazon, Ebay, Google etc.

I uninstalled this and went with Context Search which does the same thing but uses the search engines you have installed - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/240

Compact Menu 2

Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

The last update actually stops it removing the menu bar it just now removes all the menu items and leaves the bar.

Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (3.0.0).

Lightning

Noté 5 sur 5 étoiles

@thesi001 - Did you bother to read any of the other comments before posting your drivel? The nightlies of Lightning work fine with Thunderbird 3. And do you seriously think that Mozilla should go out of their way to make sure extensions for an old build still work on a new build? You should of checked if your extensions were compatible before updating in the first place. The only thing unprofessional around here is your comment.

Cette critique concerne une version précédente du module (0.9).

@JohnDavidMyself - So how is Jeroen Peters responsible for how Mozilla's search engine works? It clearly states that this only works up to 3.0a1. People need to learn to read before they post comments complaining that this extension does not work with Thunderbird 3 when it's maker, Jeroen Peters, has not stated that it works with Thunderbird 3 final. One stupid person has even accused him of false advertising.

BTW what has the working of the search function go to do with the comprehension of the text on this page?

@sr@ - Show me where it says Thunderbird 3. I think you need to slow down when reading to increase your comprehension. At a guess you are misreading "Thunderbirds 3-pane-window" which is is missing an apostrophe I admit but still makes sense. "Thunderbirds 3-pane-window" means the three areas or panes that Thunderbird uses to display folder list, email list and the email contents.

@wendymr - You're a bit of an idiot really. Actually drop the 'bit' part.

It says it is currently compatible up to 3.0a1 which is the first ALPHA release of Thunderbird 3 and was a while ago now. You get an alpha release then beta then RC (release candidate) then the final release.

If any of you moaning idiots had actually bothered to click the link to te official page for this extension you would see that it clearly says, in large letters:

"Due to lack of time I do not have Thunderbird 3 compatible version yet, but I plan to make a version. As December is a busy month I can not promise a version this month, but please check this site later to see if a Thunderbird 3 compatible version is available."
